I need to change the wallpaper, the logo and the ringing tunes.

Anyone know of great sites (free if possible!) to d/l?

And, i'm looking for MP3 webbies to d/l some songs to my HP. any recommendations?

Guess what?

My.New.Nokia.6230.Is.Finally.Here!

I am just so *excited*! Its been close to a year since I own a NOKIA hp.

I missed the easy smses.
I missed the lovely sleek design of the hp.
I missed the lovely non-polyphonic tones.
I missed the non-flippable cover of the HP. (YES. I hate flip phones now :P)
I missed the huge storage space i get with Nokia.
I missed being able to contribute at the NOKIA forums, talking abt everyone's fav hp.
I miss EVERYTHING about NOKIA.

Its like...I'm falling all over in love again. :)

OK. Think its a little bit over-exaggerated but this is the way i'm feeling right now towards my lovely baby (It shall be called my baby from today onwards. Bet my bf's gonna be jealous over this) and I just can't wait to play with IT. I can't wait to download nice logos, cute ringtones and funny games to play with. And i bet my bf's gonna be so jealous abt MY having a NOKIA hp. :) Seriously, NOKIA should hire me to be their advertising manager. :)

And, the cute baby's sitting at the corner of my desk, obediently allowing its battery to be charged to its fullest. And i cant concentrate at work right now, coz obviously my eyes are glued to this lovely thing.

OK. I'm really going insane. Its just a HP isn't it? *rolleye*

NO IT IS NOT. Its a NOKIA hp. :)

Gym/HP/Work

Suddenly i've got this HUGE urge to wanna blog. so here i am :)

Finally i've signed a one-year corporate plan with Planet Fitness with effect on 1st Oct 2004, so *hopefully* that would help me get a little bit fitter and slimmer. :) Anyway it was quite a good deal to me. I paid only $577.50 (incl. GST if you're wondering why the odd figures) for a one-year membership for ALL 3 clubs! :) Now i'm just waiting for them to transfer my locker to my most-accessed outlet.

Anyway, I'm *confirmed* getting a new Nokia 6230 tomorrow! I cant wait! *YAY* The best thing is, my ex-colleague's current colleague's bf (sounds confusing eh) works in M1. AND, I am able to get the hp at a 'staff price' of $570 nett! Oh, LOVELY. Not to mention I've found a buyer for my Samsung V200, which she is willing to get at $270. I am just so happy. :) Cant wait to play with my new hp :P

That aside, work wise, I've been rather slow in my performance. I wish i can be focussed and do my work conscientiously, but each time i arrived at the office, i ended up surfing the net, wasting time! I cant go on like this. I have a target to meet, and having a cosy small little room to myself is *NOT* a good reason to skive! And i should really be grateful that I've got this lovely job, with great colleagues, nice working environment and of cos, manageable job scope. I should really not take it for granted because if i do not treasure it, i know how soon it can get out of my hands as well. I really need to work hard. Sigh

A New HP?

I've been deliberating if i should get myself Nokia 6230. I'm dying for a new hp since my Saumsung V200 fails me with its problematic auto shut down, erase of memory when i switch off the hp sometimes. And all these, within the one-year warranty period. Oh pls. Its been only 10 months since i purchased this from M1 with a contract.

I've decided to swear off Samsung hps. The previous one my bro had died less than a year as well, but yet stupid me was obsessed with the lovely advertisement of Samsung V200 (yeah the one featuring the lady in red dancing with a not-so-handsome guy at the train station). I admit i'm a sucker for adverts, and i thot the rotating lens rocked that time. Now, i'm totally regretting not being a loyal follower of Nokia.

So, I shall go back to Nokia and get the 6230. I've been shopping around TPY these days and i am this close to buying the hp, but somehow i just stopped myself, for some reasons or another. Dunno whether its a good or bad thing, cos when i came back from work, i surfed the net abt nokia reviews, and realised that the august batch of Nokia 6230 has some serious hardware problems which cause the hp to autoshutdown, hang etc.
I honestly feel that i DO NOT need another problematic hp.

So i'm gonna think abt it really carefully, and if i do decide to get a new one, i'll check really properly (from the helpful website tips) and make sure mine's OK. :)

Or either that, I can drop by HK end of the yr since i'm making a trip there and get a new one! Not forgetting that its cheaper than sg, with their 3G hps and watsnot. The only problem is, their one-yr warranty cant be used in sg. HK only, it says.

Ah...decisions decisions.

After a cold war, crying and talking with my bf calmly last nite, I was so glad that our 'war' was over. But most importantly, I was really touched because I realised that my bf has been on my side all along, and he knows her nonsense, and how competitive and bitchy she can be. Things that she cant attain, she wouldnt let anyone else have it as well.

We went through the mind games that she played, and how scheming she is by trying to get ALL his friends to hate me. We cant stop her from pestering us now and then with her nonsense, but we can ignore her, and she definitely would feel pissed not being able to see us fight and quarrel because of her.

I felt so loved by him. And I'm so glad that he is with me all along. And yes, trust was broken before, but it was built up again.

I've been working for all the saturdays in a row and I'm obviously very exhausted. The saving grace is that I get to take some time off in lieu.

So, I took half day off this afternoon, and i was supposed to hit the gym in the afternoon, however after having lunch with G at Junction 8, I went back home intending to pack my gym bag and go, I ended up taking a 3.5hr nap! I guess I'm really very tired. But i woke up satisfied. :)

That aside, talking about Junction 8 really got me excited. After taking a light meal with G at Sakae Sushi, we headed down to the cab stand and there was this HUGE exhibition of shoes at the ground level. Being 'professional' shopaholics, G and I decided to take a look and realised it was Charles & Keith clearance sale! There were so many pairs of shoes being sold at more than 50% off, and I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes which cost $16.90 each, and G lugged back 2 pairs of shoes. It was *REAL* cheap and i guess this is a consolation for my unfruitful Bangkok trip. :)

Anyway, I cant wait for another long holiday to come by. After being transferred to this dept, I've been working harder than before, and though I've got so many things to do each day, I do look forward to going to work afterall. I must be crazy, because I've never enjoyed working the way I do right now. But i'm dying for a long good holiday to come, which i probably am taking soon, HOPEFULLY.

Its been quite some time since i update my journal. Oh well, adapting to my new work environment and i'm loving it. Love the colleagues, the job scope and of coz, how smooth my job has been during these 2 mths.

Been putting on some weight today, and i absolutely do not enjoy having my darling pinch my cheeks and call my chubby. Guess i need to run the threadmill, go for more body combats, but these days i'm just so short of time!

Came back from Bangkok on a company trip a week ago. As i saw my colleagues lugging huge hauls of clothes back at the airport, i really kicked myself for not shopping *ENOUGH*. I've decided. I'm gonna go on a Bangkok trip again this year. By hook or by crook. And i'm gonna shop till i drop. :)

And, my Samsung V200 has been giving me lotsa problem. I sent it for repairs TWO WEEKS ago, within 24 hours, the problem of auto shut down came back again. DRATS. So i sent it for repair yesterday, and the gal told me its ready for collection. It better be good, otherwise i'll give them a earful.

So! I'm looking for a good HP meantime, though i'm only into a 10-month contract with M1. Considering Nokia 6230 or Sony Ericsson K700i. Any recommendations? :)

Sorry for the long post. Guess i've not been blogging for days/weeks/month, so here comes my verbal diarrhoea. :P

I felt so pleased with myself today. I managed to get my butt off home and drove all the way to Suntec Planet Fitness for their body combat class. One hour of that is enough to kill me! I then realised how *weak* i am.

I used to peer from the outside when those gym-goers danced and moved with the music. Never did i know that punching and kicking in the air can cause so much sweat and aching. But i'm loving it, as i never felt so rejuvenated and *healthy* compared to running on the threadmill, which almost kill me each time.

Still contemplating if i should sign on for a gym membership. I wonder if i could ever perform miracles like today, getting my butt off for some kickass action. hmm

I've been putting on way too much weight that i'm contemplating getting a gym membership to work out. Amore, Planet Fitness and Cali? I really dunno which to choose, given the kinda packages they offer.

And, i dunno if i like the idea of being locked up in a package for 2-3 yrs. Its crazy, given the half-heartedness i have in anything i do. I was carzy abt cosmetics, skincare. Now i just cant be bothered.

Hmm..advice advice pls? :)

I'm thinking of getting the Ettusias Day Protect Powder. It costs $63 for the whole compact and when i tried it over the counter yesterday, my face was so smooth and matte.

But i've already have KP MicroSheer Loose Powder!

I hate making decisions.
